1. RIGHT AT THE NORTH POLE
The North Pole (at 90° North Latitude) is where the change between sunlight and darkness is the most extreme, with almost 6 months of complete darkness and then 6 months of sunlight.

2. MID-ARCTIC
A location (approximately 78° North Latitude) half way between the North Pole and the Arctic Circle.

3. AT THE ARCTIC CIRCLE
The Arctic Circle (at approximately 66°33' North Latitude) marks the start of the area where, for at least one day each year, the sun does not completely set on (June 21) or rise (on December 22).
