1. FONT SIZE

This site looks best when your font setting is "medium" or left on the medium default setting of your browser. Enlarged fonts can reconfigure the page, crowd graphics or "wrap" onto another line.

2. COLORS   ( Check Your Color Settings )

The pictures and graphics look best when your setting is higher than 256 colors, or at least "thousands of colors".

3. MONITOR RESOLUTION   ( Check Your Resolution Setting )

Although the pages are configured to display on screen resolutions as low as 640 x 480 without horizontal scrolling, we recommend a setting of at least a 800 x 600.

4. POP-UP BOXES

Various sections of this site are enhanced with pop-up boxes to give you more information, word definitions, weather reports, pictures, etc. They do not pop-up automatically - you must click on a link to view them.

• Some people add programs designed to eliminate unwanted pop-up boxes (like those annoying boxes full of advertising that come along with some sites). Some of those programs may also interfere with OUR pop-up boxes.

• Most pop-up boxes are programmed to stay as the top window until you close them. Otherwise, when you click on your main page, the pop-up window drops behind it (where you can't see it). The next time you click on a link to a pop-up box - it would seem like nothing happens.

  In fact, the new information would be appearing in the pop-up window hidden behind your main window, but you wouldn't see it until later, when you closed or moved your main window.

1. Go to the page you want to bookmark.
2. Pull down the Netscape Bookmarks menu and select Add Bookmark.

INTERNET EXPLORER USERS
1. Go to the page you want to bookmark.
2. Pull down the Favorites menu and select Add to Favorites.

TIP: To check your browser version, click your browser Help menu, and select "About Navigator" or "About Communicator" or "About Internet Explorer".

INTERNET EXPLORER: Version 6.x and above:
1. Go to the page you want to make your Home Page
2. Click your browser Tools menu
3. Select Internet Options
4. Click the General tab
5. In the Home Page section, click Use Current and then click OK

INTERNET EXPLORER: Version 4.x and above:
1. Go to the page you want to make your Home Page
2. Click your browser View menu
3. Select Internet Options
4. Click the General tab
5. In the Home Page section, click Use Current and then click OK

NETSCAPE: Version 4.x or above:
1. Click on the Edit menu
2. Choose Preferences
3. Under Category, click Navigator
4. In the Home Page section, click Use Current Page and then click OK
