Audience Frozen in Their Seats Ice Globe Theatre - an ice replica of William Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre - is not on the banks of the Thames (it's not cold enough), but on the banks of the River Torne in Sweden. Some presentations are Shakespeare’s Macbeth (in the Sami/Saami language), a Verdi opera, and the Northern Light Rock Concert. With a view of the real Northern Lights, it would make quite a light show! Just as in Shakespeare’s original theatre, the audience can enjoy the performance beneath the open sky either as a "groundling" or seated under a roof in an ice box. Cool! Northern Lights SLIDE SHOW
